About Windfall
Windfall is Truman State University's campus journal of art, literature, drama, photography, and music. All of our work is student composed, and the journal is entirely student produced.
Windfall was founded in the fall of 1976 by students and faculty. Each issue contains creative works of Truman State University students. Windfall's dedicated staff meets weekly to discuss and review submissions in addition to planning various writing-focused events throughout the year. Staff includes an editor-in-chief and an assistant editor as well as an art/music editor, poetry editor, a prose editor, their assistants, and a publicity chair. Along with the editorial board is the general staff who attend meetings to discuss and vote on all submissions. No member of the staff is excluded from any part of the publication process.
The magazine is published once a year near the end of the spring semester. Copies of the magazine are distributed on campus and are free of charge.
